BioPharmaceutical Process
12 mm and reservoir sensors suitable for SIP, CIP and autoclavable applications for pH, dissolved oxygen and Redox measurement.
Food and Beverage
Sensors for use in food applications that can withstand CIP cleaning and deliver accurate, reliable measurements. Today's food and beverage processing industries rely heavily on online measurements in order to guarantee quality and consumer safety of their products. Equipment has to be rugged and easy to maintain. It needs to withstand aggressive, high temperature chemicals or steam that are used to ensure proper hygienic conditions of the production process.
Typical parameters for electrochemical online measurements in liquids are pH, dissolved oxygen, ORP, and conductivity. The medium extends from pure process water used both as product ingredient and for cleaning purposes, through many intermediate steps of food and beverage production to waste water disposal at the end of the process.

Power Plant
Stable pH reading in low conductivity and ion weak samples are typically difficult to achieve. Hamilton offers 3 types of sensors for these difficult conditions.
In power plants, several process analytical parameters are measured and analyzed in real-time to guarantee a seamless power production minimizing the loss of capital through corrosion, wear, and other effects. Particularly the quality of boiler feed water is deemed critical to avoid damaging expensive equipment and to reduce maintenance cost. On the one hand side, the used boiler feed water is closely monitored, on the other hand side, quality control of boiler feed water production over a series of steps is important. Typical measurements do include DO (dissolved oxygen), conductivity, pH, and others.
Chemistry
Sensors designed to provide stable performance in aggressive samples under high temperature and pressure
The field of chemistry application is very wide and various. But all the measurements in chemistry have something in common. They are demanding for the material used. In such surrounding equipment has to be rugged and easy to maintain. Therefore sensors which are used in this environment must withstand harsh conditions such as high temperatures and aggressive chemicals.
