Overhead Stirrers by IKA
IKA offers the ideal overhead stirrer for your stirring and mixing tasks in the lab - for lower to high viscosities. IKA overhead stirrers effortlessly process stirring quantities of up to 200 liters. IKA lab stirrers and overhead stirrers stand out due to their indispensable features, including an electronic safety circuit, a digital display, two speed ranges, and a controlling option via the lab software Labworldsoft. A broad spectrum of stirring tools is the key to successful mixing. Functionality, safety, and longevity are the main goals in the development of IKA's overheard stirrers.
Sample Preparation with IKA
Safe and convenient: the new UTTD control with hermetically sealable, single-use sample vessels is now suitable for use in even more applications.
Unique and patented: the IKA® ULTRA-TURRAX® Tube Drive system with hermetically sealable sample vessels. The drive system with its universal, single-use tubes is particularly suitable for processing infectious, toxic and high-odor sample materials. Tests can be reproduced at any time with no risk of cross contamination between individual samples.
Three different types of sample preparation tube are available in 20 mL and 50 mL sizes, guaranteeing that there is always the right tube for the job:
- Stirring Tube (ST): mixing/dissolving with energy input to sample variable from low to very high
- Dispersing Tube (DT): Homogenizing in a standardized environment
- Ball Mill Tube (BMT): Homogenizing, milling, mixing and dissolving with aid of steel, glass or ceramic balls
New with the "control" model: reverse rotation and turbo functions for optimized mixing and milling effect. A USB interface is provide to allow tests to be documented and controlled using a PC. A simple menu system and multilingual LED display ensure that the device is easy to operate, with all test parameters displayed digitally.
Our applications database already contains over 100 applications to help you significantly increase reproducibility, accuracy and efficiency in the laboratory.
